What We Collect

Most visitors can browse without creating an account. When you submit an event or correction, we collect the information you provide, including the submitted details, links, and any name or email address you choose to include. Do not submit payment information, government IDs, medical information, or other sensitive personal information.

Our hosting provider may process standard technical request data, such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referrer, date, and error information, to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.

Location

The map requests your device location only after you choose the location control and approve your browser’s permission prompt. The site uses that location in the active browser session to show your position and help orient the map. It is not sent to our application server or saved by us. Tap the location control again to stop tracking.

Map tiles and external links are supplied by third parties. Requests to those services may reveal the map area being viewed under their own privacy policies.

Saved Places And Events

When you save a place or event, its identifier is stored in your browser on your device. It is not connected to an account, name, email address, or our server. You can remove individual saves using the same control or clear them by clearing this site’s browser storage. Saved items do not transfer between browsers or devices.

Anonymous Usage Measurements

We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate site use, including anonymous save and unsave actions. These measurements may include the page, item type, item identifier, device or browser category, approximate region, and referrer. They do not include your saved list, name, email address, precise location, or a profile, and Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies for this measurement.

How We Use And Share It

We use submitted information to review, verify, contact organizers about, and potentially publish an event or correct a listing. Event and correction submissions are sent to a private GitHub repository used for moderation. We use Vercel to host the site, process server requests, and provide anonymous usage measurements. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

External business, ticketing, social, map, and weather links lead to services with their own terms and privacy practices.

Retention And Choices

We retain event and correction submissions only as long as reasonably needed for moderation, recordkeeping, and resolving disputes. Published event details may remain in our historical data until removed or updated. You may request a correction, removal, or a copy of personal information you submitted through the correction form.

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Google Services

When Google Maps Platform services are used, Google’s terms and privacy policy also apply. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
